Week 3: Responding Authentically

Last week, you learned how to see your own thoughts. You practiced looking for the facts of a situation (the circumstance), and what you are making those facts mean in your own mind. You learned how to analyze your thoughts, exploring how they are true (or not) and how they are serving you (or not). This skill will equip you to become the watcher of your own thoughts and feelings, instead of being controlled by them.

This week, you will learn a process for intentionally changing how you think, feel, and act when faced with a challenging circumstance. That means deciding the result you want and which actions will create that result. It also means cultivating new thoughts and feelings (which you can 100% do!!) As a result of doing this work, you will start to honour the things you value more of the time, and you will feel better on the journey!
